The HR Generalist supports day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department, focusing on guidance to employees especially in the areas of benefits, personnel management, and communication. Ensures accurate and timely recording of employee data in electronic systems. Conducts special projects and internal audits as assigned by Human Resources Director.  Visits sites as needed to achieve goals of the department.

The HR Generalist must have great work ethic and a positive attitude. The candidate should possess the following talents: solutions oriented multi-tasker, organized and efficient, engenders trust and confidence among staff and colleagues. This position requires someone with the ability to interface effectively with members of culturally and professionally diverse staff.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, health administration or related field or the equivalent progressive experience in the field of employee benefits and/or human resources administration. Minimum requirement: three years professional level experience in human resources or benefits administration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Microsoft Office proficiency required. Spreadsheet and database skills desirable. Computer literate with knowledge of web-based, self-service human resource applications, Powerpoint, Excel and database applications. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
