DescriptionThe Call Center Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all call center operators to ensure that all incoming calls through Erie’s call center are efficiently handled and courteously answered, and that patients are scheduled properly for all Erie sites within guidelines. Responsible for providing adequate staffing at the call center by coordinating coverage for planned or unplanned absences, to assure that operational procedures are implemented consistently, that staff is achieving assigned goals and that all organizational policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to. Collaborates with managers of patient care services to ensure consistency of procedures and expectations and also with the Leadership Team and Site Directors across Erie sites to assure effective call center operations.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, healthcare administration or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Two to three to years of experience as a switchboard operator preferred. Knowledge of telephone call center supervision and patient flow management principles preferred. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service skills and experience. Ability to lead, supervise and instruct employees. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English required.
